Traveling with Carry On Luggage

Wheeled Carry-On Tote

You might have heard the recommendation: If you can travel with only carry on luggage, do it. Why would anybody want to travel with just one small bag? The answer is simple:

It’s more cost effective. If your luggage is small enough to be taken onto the airplane in the overhead compartment, you are able to save the money of checking your luggage. Be sure to check with your airline on their rules and regulations for luggage.

You save time. There is no waiting at the baggage claim if you are traveling with one piece of carry on luggage. This means that you can walk off of the plane and exit the airport right away. This is a huge deal if you are pressed for time or don’t like waiting.

Most airlines allow one carry on bag and one personal item. This means that you can being a carry on bag plus a purse, tote bag or even a laptop case.

The only thing that you should be concerned about when traveling with a carry on bag is the TSA rules. There are more strict rules enforced for traveling with a carry on item. Prohibited items are things such as weapons, sharp objects, certain liquids, etc.

My recommendation is to travel with a carry on bag and purchase your toiletries upon arrival. This will save you time and money and is he best way to go!
