Palm Beach International Airport Parking Prices

Many travelers cringe at the thought of paying for airport parking. If your trip has you away for a few days, the cost can really rack up with daily parking fees. Take the Palm Beach International Airport, for example, to park closely outside of baggage claim is a whopping $30 per day.

Premium: $30.00/day  (Outside Baggage Claim)
Short Term:$17.00/day   (Terminal Levels 4-7)
Long Term:  $13.00/day  (Indoor Garage & Surface Lot)
Economy: $7.00/day    (This lot is on airport property and is just a 5-minute walk to the terminal or includes complimentary shuttle service to curb side baggage check-in.)

My suggestion? Hire a transportation company, such as Ashear Car Service. With rates starting at $65 to PBI, you save a ton of money by avoiding gas, parking and the stress of traveling as it is. Tips for Sucessful Blogging

Many people begin a blog with the best of intentions, however, it doesn’t always end up working the way they planned. The first step in blogging is doing a little research. You have to know the latest in blogging developments. Here are a few tips to help you stay in the social networking loop.

#1: Anti-Spam Plugin

Spam is one of the biggest problems in the blogging world. There are hundreds of thousands of marketers that will attempt to promote their products though spam comments and trackback links. Leaving these comments on your blog leave it looking messy and unattended. That is why I recommend installing an Anti-Spam plugin. There are some pretty powerful tools out there. Akismet, for example, is one of my favorites. It stops the spam comments and trackbacks, as well as allows your comment section to look neat and tidy. One of the best parts? It’s essentially free (unless you own a business oriented blog, in which case it costs $5 a month).

#2: Building Relationships

You have to look at your blog as a business, in a way. By gaining support from other bloggers, you are essentially building the stepping stones for success to your blog. Don’t look at your fellow bloggers are competitors, look at them as allies. How can other bloggers help you?
·         Linking to, retweeting or sharing your posts
·         Providing advice when you’re stuck
·         Being supportive and encouraging

#3: Cultivate Relationships through Comments

How can you quickly gain friendships through blogging? You can start by actually reading the materials that others are putting out there. Leaving positive feedback and commenting is a great start as well. The more that you comment and associate with your fellow bloggers, the more that they will do the same to you. Your blog will gain authenticity with REAL blog comments.
To encourage positive comments, get into the habit of asking a question at the end of every blog post.

#4: Design and Appearance

The words on your screen aren’t the most important aspect if your blog. In fact, a blog is much like a website. While the content is key, so is the design. If you select an ugly design for your blog, chances are that your viewers won’t take you seriously. A blog that isn’t attractive or easy to read is considered “amateur”.
Here are some tips to help improve the quality of your blog appearance:
  • Enlarge the font size up to make your text easier to read.
  • Get rid of the clutter in your sidebar.
  • Consider paying a designer to create a header for your blog
  • Stick with a clean, simple design.

#5: Formatting Blog Posts

Good blog formatting helps readers follow your posts easily. Blogs are just like books. If you can’t keep up or follow the plot, you’re going to lose interest quickly. Here are some tips for great blog formatting:
·         Subheadings (Header 2) to break up your content and provide signposts so readers can jump to the section that’s most relevant to them.
·         Bold text to highlight key sentences. Don’t overdo it, and avoid using bold text to highlight individual words.
·         Add bullet points for lists, rather than putting the whole list in one paragraph. The extra white space that this creates helps readability, and bullet points are easy for the reader to take in at a glance.
·         Use blockquote formatting for any quotes.

Fleet Management: Smart Hire Solution

Fleet managers face the task of hiring "safe" drivers, but how do you know if you are doing just that?  That’s why Driver's Alert's Enterprise Fleet Safety Management system begins with Smart Hire, the fleet management industry’s most powerfully predictive pre-employment screening solution.
Unlike most services, Smart Hire does not rely on credit and consumer reports which can leave up to 40% of applicants “unscored.” Using a broader pool of available data and applying sophisticated analytic algorithms, Smart Hire scores virtually 100% of applicants on the truthfulness of employment applications. These scores are highly predictive, identifying 63% more losses than corresponding consumer report scores. Consider the side-by-side comparison below:

As you can see in the chart on the left, 35% of losses involve applicants who cannot be scored by a consumer report (no-hits and thin files). The Smart Hire graph on the right, based on 12 million applications, shows that the 12% of candidates in our Very High Risk category account for 39% of losses incurred. Conversely, a poor consumer report score casts doubt on more applicants (15%) yet predicts far less losses (24%). For those of you with a statistical background, Smart Hire’s coefficient of correlation (R Square) is 30 points higher than that of consumer reports — or 57% better predictive power.
Bottom line, being able to eliminate 39% or more of incident losses by having precise pre-hire screening data means Smart Hire offers phenomenal return on investment as a stand-alone solution. Add industry-leading GPS trackingunlimited online training, and other components in our comprehensive solution suite, and you can see why Smart Risk 3.0 is simply unmatched in improving fleet safety and reducing related costs.

Pinterest and Seach Engine Marketing

In a matter of several months, Pinterest has climbed to the top of the SEO charts. It has gained reputation and respect as a major social networking site. Here is how to use Pinterest for maximum SEO benefits.
1. Utilize Pinterest for Online Reputation Management
Before you even start pinning and creating boards, you must optimize your profile. You do this by using main keywords and phrases – and link to your website. Pinterest is a growing website and attempting to stop all spam so your site must be verified. This is essential. As a result, you have better control on your brand’s search results, ensuring that only positive results appear at the top.
2. Optimize Your Pin Descriptions for Search Engine Optimization
Every item that you pin allows for 500 characters as a description. It’s your job to optimize this description so that it is compelling. Google bots crawl every pin – remember this. These days, almost everything that you search on Google pulls up at least one Pinterest result – try it. Make your descriptions rich with content and keywords/phrases.
3. Optimizing Your Pins for SEO
At this time back links from Pinterest are “no follow”. However, the source urls for pins are “dofollow”. This means that every photo or item that you pin should link back to your site. This brings in a ton of traffic if you have followed steps 1, 2 and now 3.
4. Don’t use Pinterest as an SEO Tool
I know, it doesn’t make sense. It does make sense, however, if you look at it like this. Pinterest is NOT an SEO site. It’s an online community. If you use it by these parameters, you are removing the SEO from the equation.
For example, pin relevant images that add value to readers. If you are pinning things that readers are searching for, your pins are likely to be shared, re-pinned and searched. This is much, much stronger than the common “SEO”.
