I'm always asked the question: "Can I bring my contact solution onto an airplane". "Why can't I bring my water?". Well here are the facts when it comes to carry on luggage: liquids may be brought onto an airplane in your carry on luggage if they are under 3oz and sealed in a ziplock bag.
Of course, there are other rules and regulations when it comes to airport security. The first step is ensuring that you have durable, quality luggage that is not over the size/weight limitations of your particular airline. You can call your airline just to be sure that you are obeying the regulations.
The following is a list of items not allowed inside the plane:
- mouth wash
- perfumes and colognes
- liquid soaps and sanitizers
- hair styling gel or any type of gel
- spray deodorants
- shaving creams
- hair spray and other similar hair products
- facial cleanser
- nail polish and nail polish removers
- lip gloss and liquid makeup
- gel candles
- bug spray
- cigarette lighters
- creams, lotions, sunscreens, moisturizers
- drinks and beverages
- jellies and jams
- yogurts
- other similar liquid substances
